Twitter provides a video option known as Vine. This allows for a six second recording which can be posted on Vine and then sent out as a Tweet.
This blog has four embedded Vine videos which shows how you can estimate the time from project initiation to system go live (based on a business solution implementation).
The software used to calculate the final go live date is Microsoft Project 2010.
Lesson 1: List the Stages
First we need to list out the Project Stages. In the PRINCE2 Methodology the first work is Project Initiation followed by one or more Stages.
Lesson 2: Enter in elapsed durations
Next an estimate is required as to the time each Stage is likely to take.
These are elapsed durations
Lesson 3: Enter start date and dependencies
The Stages happen in sequential order, an indicative start date is required.
Lesson 4: Do a quality review
Finally we should do a quality review of the calculations to see if there are clashes with other activities such as public holidays.
